I love this quote because I believe so deeply that being involved in "the arts" - whatever that may look like for you - is so important to being a well-rounded person.
My favorite line is "Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow...". I believe that. And I think so many times we hear people say "I don't get art" or "I'm not artistic" when in reality it might just be another instance of society imposing a view of what "art" is or only looking at the traditional view of it.
